Preview on Thursday Night Match UP Cardinals vs Rams

If you look at just the records this seems to be an easy game for the Cardinals– who are undefeated this year. After all they went to New England and won and then Philadelphia came to town and the Cardinals went to town on them.

The Rams could be the bubble busters for the Cardinals. Both offenses are really close in numbers but it is the difference in the defense that makes all the difference.

The Rams have allowed 135 rushing yards per game but are better are protecting the passing rush than the Cardinals. The Cardinals last in the league for total yards per game and 25^th for passing yards. In rushing yards they are 29^th– something that the Rams should take advantage of.

The key for the Rams to win is breaking up the qb passing to wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Andre Roberts– if they can do that the Rams could pull a big upset.

The other issue is will the Cardinals keep forever the backup qb never the bride Kevin Kolb in the pocket or will John Skelton who was injured earlier get back into the game?
