Jets’ Team Suffers Second Major Injury

The Jets season just became more of a nightmare with the season ending injury of Santonio Holmes.

The wide receiver received a Lisfranc injury to his left foot during Sunday’s 34-0 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Last season Holmes caught 51 passes for 654 yards and eight touchdowns.

To replace Holmes the Jets have signed wide receiver Jason Hill. I really thought they should have reached out to Terrell Owens just for the additional drama. I realize this is selfish but come on that would have been awesome.

Maybe Tim Tebow can fill in for Holmes because if it is up to Jets’ Coach Rex Ryan, Tebow won’t be filling in for starting quarterback Marc Sanchez anytime soon.

Speedy recovery Santonio and yes Jets fans you should begin Tebowing right now to try to have any decent games the remainder of the season.
